Welcome to the Indiana North District of Optimist International
I would like to personally thank you for visiting the website of the Indiana North District of Optimist International. As optimists, we direct our entire focus on the youth of our communities. Whether it’s fun-filled activities, our Childhood Cancer Campaign, or our Essay and Oratorical Scholarship contests, we live to help our kids.
Our district if comprised of 45 local clubs, ranging from Interstate 74 north to the Indiana/Michigan border. We include nearly 1800 members on our rolls and are currently working on adding two college clubs, one at Purdue and a second club at Ball State University.
Our theme this year is “Breaking New Waters”. I believe that we are doing just that with our working on building the college clubs. But we are also looking for new communities filled with adults that would love to be more involved in helping the youth with their own projects.
